Spring Mystery Box Reveal

The time is finally here for Spring mythology mystery boxes. We are so excited about this season’s theme, which has been teased here and there on social media. Drum roll, please…

The Twins: Apollo, the Oracle, and Artemis, the Huntress. 

In the past, we have done everything from the Return of Persephone to the mystery cults of Eleusis and Dionysus, but this season, we wanted to focus on the famed twins of mythology. Apollo and Artemis are the offspring of Leto and Zeus, and we were inspired by what they represent in Greek mythology: creativity and freedom, two aspects that go hand in hand with the Spring.

To us, the mythology surrounding Apollo perfectly encapsulates his associations with music, poetry, the sun, and, of course, prophecy. Not only did he create beautiful music with his lyre, but his oracles would utter prophecy through his divine inspiration. Artemis: Olympian of the Hunt, Wild Animals, and More

For Artemis, we had so much fun encapsulating her wild spirit into scents, candles, and more! As the goddess of the hunt and protector of young girls, we wanted to create a box that aligned with her ancient associations! Her bow and quiver are iconic features, and we wanted to highlight them in subtle ways for all myth lovers. The Artemis mythology box is perfect for anyone who loves the wild hunt, the freedom of the forest, or the goddess herself.
